Chabiant Vino Nuovo Festival

The “Beaujolais Nouveau” Festival takes place on the third Thursday in November every year. The new Beaujolais is traditionally launched in a small French town Beaujeu, where a procession of barrels filled with flaming vine shoots takes place before the first barrels are drilled into, when the clock strikes midnight. Wine makers and guests celebrate festive arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau followed by fireworks. And with the slogan “Le Beaujolais est arrivé!” the Festival begins.
This tradition is also acknowledged and celebrated in other countries, for example in Italy begins with slogan "Il Vino Nuovo è pronto!" ("Young wine is ready!).
We promise a fun-filled night with traditional young wine bottling, quiz and prizes, fireworks, charity auction, traditional complimentary Glintwine (Glühwein) and the bottle of Vino Nuovo for each our guest!
